GERMAN MAUT RENEWAL

The German Federal Government is renewing the MAUT road taxes from 1.12.2023 onwards. The current MAUT will be increased with a CO2 MAUT surcharge, which will vary based on the amount of CO2 produced by commercial vehicles. With EURO 6 trucks this increase will be €0,16/km making the total MAUT €0,35/km. As a part of this renewal all commercial vehicles weighing over 3,5t will also be subject to MAUT.
As this is a tax-related duty, we are forced to transfer this additional charge to customer prices. We will inform you about the effects as soon as possible.
